Epicentre Logical Data Model |
A natural or man-made entity typically associated with coverage of a portion of the earth surface, for example, the Arctic Ocean. These entities may have stated properties that are not the same as those derived from a distinct representation of the object.
- identifier (M: ndt_long_name) (1038, 1144)
- The identifying name for the earth surface feature.
- description (O: ndt_comment)
- A description of the area of interest.
- business_associate_land_feature_role (V: SET[0:?] business_associate_land_feature_role(earth_surface_feature))
- These describe the roles that different business associates may have for this earth surface feature. Each earth_surface_feature may have one or more business_associate_land_feature_role.
- coordinate_system (V: SET[0:?] coordinate_system(earth_surface_feature))
- This describes the coordinate systems that have been defined as appropriate to this portion of the surface of the Earth. Each earth_surface_feature may be an area of use for one or more coordinate_system.
- coordinate_transformation (V: SET[0:?] coordinate_transformation(coordinate_transformation_aoi))
- This describes the coordinate transformations that have been defined as appropriate to this portion of the surface of the Earth. Each earth_surface_feature may be an area of use for one or more coordinate_transformation.
- earth_surface_feature_alias (V: SET[0:?] earth_surface_feature_alias(earth_surface_feature))
- Indicates various identifiers of this feature. Each earth_surface_feature may be known as one or more earth_surface_feature_alias.
- local_rock_feature (V: SET[0:?] local_rock_feature(earth_surface_feature)) (1226)
- These are the local_rock_features that this earth_surface_feature provides identification for. Each earth_surface_feature may locate one or more local_rock_feature.
- position_on_earth_surface (O: SET[0:?] position_on_earth_surface(earth_surface_feature))
- Specifies the various earth surface positions of this feature. Each earth_surface_feature may be located by one or more position_on_earth_surface.
- pty_area (V: SET[0:?] pty_area(earth_surface_feature))
- Each earth_surface_feature may have a property of one or more pty_area.
- pty_average_earth_surface_elevation (V: SET[0:?] pty_average_earth_surface_elevation(earth_surface_feature)) (0724)
- This is the average land elevation or water depth for an area of the Earth. Each earth_surface_feature may have a property of one or more pty_average_earth_surface_elevation.
- pty_geothermal_gradient (V: SET[0:?] pty_geothermal_gradient(earth_surface_feature))
- Each earth_surface_feature may have a property of one or more pty_geothermal_gradient.
- pty_population (V: SET[0:?] pty_population(earth_surface_feature))
- This is the population for this Earth surface feature. Each earth_surface_feature may have a property of one or more pty_population.
- pty_population_density (V: SET[0:?] pty_population_density(earth_surface_feature))
- This is the population density for this Earth surface feature. Each earth_surface_feature may have a property of one or more pty_population_density.
- ref_naming_system (O: ref_naming_system)
- The naming system in which the identifier is defined and unique.
- synthetic_log_trace (V: SET[0:?] synthetic_log_trace(earth_surface_feature))
- A well log trace may be typical or representative of the Earth below an earth surface feature, such as a field or geologic province. Each earth_surface_feature may be characterized by one or more synthetic_log_trace.
- well_log (V: SET[0:?] well_log(earth_surface_feature))
- Well logs may contain information, such as well log traces, typical of the earth subsurface below an earth surface feature. Each earth_surface_feature may be represented by one or more well_log.
- well_surface_feature_role (V: SET[0:?] well_surface_feature_role(earth_surface_feature))
- These are the roles that wells have with this portion of the surface of the Earth. For example, this may describe that several wells are within and other wells are outside this earth surface feature. Each earth_surface_feature may be related to one or more well_surface_feature_role.
