A named set of activities and constraints. The activities included in the schedule are defined by schedule activity. Restrictions on the times at which the activities may be scheduled are defined by the containment relationship between any activities in the schedule and the specified schedule constraints. A schedule may contain both planned and actual activities to describe what may happen in the future and what has already happened.

Gives the activity the schedule is describing. The schedule may describe the activity in terms of its component activities or give the times when the component activities may be done.
