Tom Halbouty - Pioneer Natural Resources

Since joining Pioneer, Mr. Halbouty has focused on rationalizing and combining the business systems of five merged companies and adapting Pioneer's infrastructure to support the Company's new business model. 

Mr. Halbouty oversees Pioneer's portfolio of system improvement opportunities for business and scientific computing and has implemented processes to standardize technology opportunity throughout the Company. Prior to Pioneer, Mr. Halbouty was with Andersen Consulting (Accenture). He was a member of Andersen's America's Energy Practice and focused on large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system engagements, including SAP. Mr. Halbouty also implemented significant business re-engineering and led transition teams involved in business process outsourcing. He was a lead member of Andersen's Center of Financial Excellence Team and a member of their National SAP Practice. 

In addition to Andersen, Mr. Halbouty's experience includes key technology and business positions with American Exploration, Quintana, Arthur Andersen and Gulf Oil. He has been involved in directing technology, business planning, divestitures, acquisitions, public accounting and financial analysis with these organizations.

Mr. Halbouty received a BBA from the University of Houston in Accounting and holds CPA and CMA certifications.

Tom has a lot of energy around E&P Data Management and is interested in improving access while reducing costs.
