 POSC's WITSML Special Interest Groups will hold working meetings for a day and a half prior to the WITSML Public Seminar on May 12.  These  meetings are open to active WITSML SIG members and invited guests only. 

If you would like more information regarding attending these WITSML Working Meetings as a guest, please contact Alan Doniger or Struby Overton at POSC.

Parallel meeting will be held by the WITSML Technical Teams and Use Case Requirements Team. 

  • The Technical Team will address feedback from experience using the current versions of WITSML (V1.2 and V1.3).  
  • The Use Case Requirements Team will address pending areas of expansion for WITSML including subjects such as Daily Drilling Reports, Completions, and Environmental Reporting. 

More information on the WITSML initiative/specifications can be found on the WITSML Web site or by contacting Alan Doniger at POSC.  All organizations with an interest in the WITSML standard are invited to join the WITSML SIG to support the standard and to determine its future direction.
