Note that participants must declare "at the booking stage" that they are coming for the WITSML fall meetings 
and to visit IFP in order to obtain IFP's rates at the following hotels:  les Arts, Quality/La Chaumere and Quality/Cardinal.

Shuttle Bus Service from the Rueil-Malmaison R.E.R. Railway Station, to and from the IFP facility,
will be available on Thursday, November 4 (only) as follows (see Directions to IFP 'By Publlic Transport' below):

     8:15 a.m. - Shuttle leaves Rueil RER train station; arrives at IFP at 8:30 a.m.
     8:55 a.m. - Shuttle leaves Rueil RER train station, arrives at IFP at 9:10 a.m.


   18:15 p.m. - Shuttle leaves IFP for Rueil RER train station
   19:00 p.m. - Shuttle leaves IFP for Rueil RER train station

Directions to IFP:

 

1/Get off the RER at RUEIL-MALMAISON (Victor Hugo exit) and take the special IFP/WITSML Seminar shuttle bus. 
NOTE: Shuttle Bus operates only on Thursday, Nov. 4 (see schedule above).

2/ Get off the RER at RUEIL-MALMAISON (Victor Hugo exit) and take the 144 or 467 bus to either MAIRIE DE RUEIL or EGLISE

3/ Get off the RER at GRANDE ARCHE de LA DEFENSE and take the 258 bus (La Défense - St-Germain-en-Laye). Get off the bus at the BOIS-PREAU stop

 

Finding the IFP Building

At the end of the Avenue de Bois-Préau, at the corner with the avenue Napoleon Bonaparte (N13), there is a beautiful building that is today owned by the French Institute of Petroleum. This is the former guardhouse, originally situated in the outer Malmaison Park, and it was used as the stables and to house the cavalry squadron charged with keeping watch over the estate entrance. Built by Percier and Fontaine in 1801, the original structure is intact despite later additions, such as the rotunda on the right. Noteworthy are the pediment decorated with a military trophy and the Ionic pilasters framing the door.
