The Fall 2002 Europe POSC Conference continued the focus on the benefits of the rapid
creation, implementation and use of energy eStandards.
The overall theme of the conference was
"E&P
Knowledge, Information and Data: Documents, Data Stores and Catalogues"
The first day was organized as a plenary conference with keynote speakers and a session on current POSC activities. The
second day featured two seminars:
* Wellsite
Information Acquisition - jointly sponsored with the WITSML SIG, and
* E&P
Products and Services Nomenclature and Classification - jointly sponsored with
the API's Electronic Commerce Committee, PIDX.

U.S. Conference & Annual Meeting was held on November 20-21
in Houston. |
The Data Store Solutions SIG
met for
a working meeting on Thursday, October 17 in London.
