	Request for Comments on Application Interaction
		The RFC was issued in June 1999. Responses to the RFC are now available. Comments on the responses are welcome.

	Second Interoperability Specification Snapshot Release, April, 1999
		The second snapshot of specifications resulting from this project was released for member review and comment. There will be one or more additional snapshots.

	Post-RFT Work
		Funding was sought for the first part of 1999 with the intent of completing the initial interoperability specifications. Five project sponsor companies committed their support for this work. The project sponsor companies are Chevron, Elf, PrismTech, Shell, and Statoil. This funding was obtained based on a project proposal called the Interoperability Project Continuation Proposal.
