Version 2.1 of POSC Specifications Available to Public

POSC announces the public availability of Version 2.1 of its E&P industry data and computer specifications for the life cycle of the field.

POSC's specifications lend themselves to process improvements and innovations such as concurrent engineering. Cross-disciplinary teams with ready access to needed data, and data about the data, can successfully apply such innovations to achieve cost savings estimated to range from 15-30% or more of total project costs. The savings potential of multi-billion dollar undertakings such as offshore platform design and construction is enormous.

The Software Integration Platform Specifications, Version 2.1, are available as a two-CD set:
