The POSC/CAESAR Project is located in the offices of Saga Petroleum asa, who provides the administrative services to the Project. The offices are situated in Sandvika approximately 15 km west of the centre of Oslo.

Oslo airport, Fornebu, is approximately halfway between Sandvika and the centre of Oslo. There are no direct bus lines between the airport and our offices, so a taxi will be the most convenient way of transport. You will find a taxi just outside the airport terminal. If you are going from the airport to the centre of Oslo you may take a bus called "Flybussen" leaving every 15 minutes directly in front of the airport terminal.
From the centre of Oslo there are several bus routes to Sandvika from the central railway station (Oslo Sentralstasjon) departing every 15 minutes. You may go by route 151, 153, 161, 162, 251, 252, 261, 705 and 706. From the centre of Oslo the bus will take approximately 30 minutes and you will have another 10 minutes walk to our offices situated near the sea.
Local trains are also departing from the central railway station (Oslo Sentralstasjon) approximately every 15 minutes during the rush hours marked Sandvika, Spikkestad, Asker, Drammen and Kongsberg. You will have to spend approximately 20 minutes on the train from the centre of Oslo to Sandvika and the you will have a 10 minutes walk to our offices from the train station.
If you prefer to go by taxi you should probably allow approximately 30 minutes from the centre of Oslo to our offices in Sandvika.
There is a good hotel situated just across from our offices in Sandvika where you may have a good discount rate if you ask for it, stating that you will be visiting Saga Petroleum asa.

However, if you want the facilities of Oslo like a wide choice of restaurants, shops etc., we may recommend the Radisson SAS Plaza Hotel, situated in the centre of Oslo near the central railway station, where you may also obtain a discount rate if you state that you will be visiting Saga Petroleum asa.

There are quite a few restaurants in the city of Oslo serving national and international food. If you visit Oslo during the summer time the area of "Aker Brygge" is very popular with a wide choice of outdoor as well as indoor restaurants. The area is situated at the harbour and is almost always crowded when the weather is good.
